About the Founder:

Alexandra Goldman founded Artifactoid based on her deep love for contemporary art and desire to engage actively with the global art community. Wearing many hats in the art world, she has held positions as Managing Director of Barro New York, Director of Membership and Community at Fotografiska New York, Associate Director of Miles McEnery Gallery, Assistant Director of Olsen Gruin and Klein Sun (Eli Klein) Gallery, and Director of Y Gallery. She continues to write in English and Spanish for Cultbytes Magazine, Whitehot MagazineArte FuseVice-Versa Magazine, and Revista Jennifer, and curates exhibitions at The Core Club as well as other independent venues. Goldman received her MA in Art History focusing on Latin American art from Hunter College, and received her bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture and Communications from NYU.
